The First Alert VX1 High-Definition Video Doorbell delivers advanced features, capability, and reliability that customers expect in their connected home. Homeowners can greet visitors, keep track of package deliveries, and monitor general activity outside the doorway – from any location. With advanced event detection for meaningful notifications, the doorbell offers leading video quality and enhanced performance. Along with general-purpose motion detection, the VX1 includes people, vehicle, animal and package detection. The sound detection feature can also alert homeowners to a loud sound outside the home.
The doorbell can be added and pre-configured using the AlarmNet 360® app, ensuring a great homowner experience. Dual-band 2.4 and 5GHz Wi-Fi provides enhanced performance and simplifies installation. Additionally, the doorbell supports mechanical or digital chimes.
Homeowners access the VX1 features and capabilities using the Resideo Total Connect 2.0 app, which notifies homeowners of important activity anytime, anywhere. Using the app, homeowners can view high-quality live and recorded video with three fields of view to choose from, accommodating a variety of entryways.
